Summer is winding to an end and I’m not ready to let go. With this fun tropical mocktail, I don’t have to. (At least not yet!) Instead my whole family can enjoy this non alcoholic summer drink loaded with flavor before summer ends. Since tropical flavors like mango, coconut and pineapple are featured in this non-alcoholic blender drink recipe, my kids to feel special with some of their favorites while my husband and I can add a splash of alcohol to ours if we want.
How to Make a Blended Non Alcoholic Summer Drink
When making your own mocktail, you can typically take your favorite alcoholic blender drinks and simply omit the alcohol or add in some extra fruit or juice just like these prosecco pops. This summer we’ve been enjoying pina coladas and my kids have been begging us to make some non-alcholic versions for them again. Typically we use frozen pineapple and coconut cream to make them, but for this mocktail recipe I opted for a can of the frozen pina colada mix to keep it simple and frozen mango to switch things up.
Don’t like the taste of mango? While it isn’t super strong in this non alcoholic drink, you can easily switch it out for pineapple.
You can double this frozen drink recipe and make two separate batches to use your whole can of pina colada mix. My ninja blender wouldn’t be big enough for double the ice so I only made enough for two servings which were really quite large and plenty for my three kids to share.
