Wordless Wednesday – Caramel Apple Fun

I can’t let the fall season go by without doing some caramel apples. This past week we indulged in some caramel apple making with the boys and let them pick their choice of toppings.

Warren wanted jumbo ghost sprinkles from Wilton and chocolate chips.

Lucian went straight for the orange sugar! Both created “interesting” textures on the apples but both were still yummy!

what kind of caramel did you use? everytime I try the caramel (or red candy sauce) just slides right off the apples and doesn’t stick. those look really really good. glad your kids had fun!
