I know that I am blessed to have this beautiful apple tree in my backyard. Not only does it look nice but I look forward to all I can do with my yummy apples.

You might see a tree but I see some amazing baked goodies that are just waiting to be made with these little round morsels of slightly tart goodness.

These apples are perfect for baking and I can’t wait to show you fabulous apple recipes in the upcoming weeks!

You have a beautiful apple tree. We have an apple tree in our backyard but the apples are awful! I don’t know what the variety is or why they are so bad. I wish I had a good one to get good apples out of. I guess I’ll have to be happy with all our avocados and oranges.

I would LOVE an apple tree in the back yard. That is one fruit I can never get tired of.

How neat! I love having stuff like that in the yard. My grandma was ‘lucky’ to have three big blackberry trees on her property lol.

I would love to have an apple tree. I was just thinking I was ready for apple season and the favorite, apple festivals.

Your apples are gorgeous!! Do you spray the tree to keep them bug-free?

Nope, we don’t really do a think except my husband will prune it every few years and then the following year the apples aren’t quite as plentiful. But we’ve been blessed and don’t get a lot of bugs. Our only problems in the past have been the deer eating all the low lying ones. We typically have a ton of deer in our yard but this year just one doe and two fawns so they are happy with those that have fallen. 🙂

Trying to convince Dumb Dad to plant one of those in our yard, he’s not been so inclined yet. I’ll win though, I usually do!

Those apples look just delicious! There are four trees across the front of ours and our landlord’s yards but the frost has killed all of the buds the past two springs so no apples 🙁 three years ago we had so many we didn’t know what to do with them!

I worked in a bakery at an apple orchard in high school and even though I made thousands of pies, donuts, rollovers, etc, I still love them!

So yummy! My mom has made homemade applesauce my whole life. It really is simple and is especially good when it is still warm!
