We are not formally trained bakers and certainly not professional photographers. We are simply two women who experience a joy in baking, making something homemade and showing others we care, making us feel good.
What is more fun than using your mother’s recipes, especially those that have been passed down from generation to generation? Where the smells bring you back and the taste is extra sweet as you reminisce? And what is more gratifying than finding that perfect new recipe that prompts smiling as they indulge and maybe even some begging? Begging for some more, for you to share the recipe or to make it again and again?
Baking is rewarding and we simply can’t deny our impulses, to achieve that state of bliss that comes from enjoying something sugary sweet, our own little sugar high, oh my!

You should have seen us trying to come up with a name. So many were taken already and it was frustrating. I must have sent poor Cat 50 different combinations that were available, many one or two at a time on google chat. I got really excited when I finally found something that I loved that wasn’t gone.
