Cat introduced you to Dassant mixes with the Chocolate Chip Cake. Today I have the pleasure of showing you one of the mixes I received, the Dassant Premium Cinnamon Chip Bread Mix. I chose this because breads are really a favorite in my household and I adore the aromas and flavor of cinnamon so I was sure it would be a hit. This mix did not disappoint.

Is it a cake or is it bread? Is it for breakfast or dessert? Good news, it’s both! This versatile quick bread is fantastic for any time of the day you feel like munching on something with a hint of sweetness. A light, fluffy core is packed with tiny, tasty cinnamon chips giving you a heavenly burst of flavor. This cinnamon sweet bread is best when served warm from the oven and washed down with a cold glass of milk. Enjoy!

Recipes at the Dassant include Cinnamon Cream Cheese Bites, Cinnamon Coffee Cake Muffins and Cinnamon French Toast!

The directions are extremely easy to follow and even include pictures to make it easier for kids to help! Simply combine egg and water.

Add mix and fold together batter until smooth. (Approximately one minute). Not dealing with a mixer make preparation even easier!

Smooth batter in a lightly greased standard 8×4 inch loaf pan, leveling the top.

Bake at 350 for 55 to 60 minutes. Easy right?

A cinnamon icing recipe is also included right on the box which calls for butter, hot water, vanilla, cinnamon and confectioners (powdered) sugar. Pour it over the top approximately 15 to 20 minutes after removing from the oven.

This creates a beautiful presentation and really is so easy and simple with minimal clean up. The bread is a bit more cake like than I usually make so the cinnamon icing was the perfect pairing for more of a dessert bread. It was scrumptious and my whole family enjoyed this bread! Yummy!

If you are looking for the perfect gift for that hard to buy for person or are simply searching for something affordable that will be appreciated and used, Dassant Baking Mixes are a perfect choice. They are available on Amazon in groups of 6 or from Dassant Direct (12 box minimum, any combination) and would make fabulous stocking stuffers or a great addition to a gift basket!

Disclosure – I was provided with Dassant Baking Mixes free of charge from Dassant. Opinions expressed are my 100% own and are not influenced by monetary compensation.
