This cranberry raspberry punch is a refreshing sherbet punch, perfect for entertaining a crowd. The flavor and color works great for the holidays. Guests will love this holiday punch recipe!
It is tempting to only think of hot drinks for entertaining in the winter. At least, it certainly is for me here in Minnesota. But if your house can get extremely warm with the oven on and a lot of people milling about (like my parent’s house), then something cold and refreshing is nice for the holidays. And if you happen to live in a warmer weather state, you can certainly appreciate a festive cold punch like this Cranberry Raspberry Punch from Merissa Alink. With just three ingredients, this raspberry sherbet punch will be a hit without breaking the bank or much effort. So you can spend more time doing what you should be doing during the holidays – enjoying time with family and friends.
Cranberry Raspberry Sherbet Punch
To make this easy punch recipe you’ll need cranberry juice, lemon lime soda such as Sprite, Sierra Mist or 7Up and some raspberry sherbet. I highly recommend making this punch right before serving and pouring the soda directly over the sherbet for best results.
Punch Tip: Do not try to make this sherbet punch healthier by skipping the soda or swapping out the soda with sparkling water. The sugar in the soda is what breaks down the sherbet and it won’t taste right without it.
Keep in mind, of course, that the soda will lose its fizz if stored for over 24 hours. Consider serving this along side some warm apple cider or hot cocoa to give guests more options!
