Baking for the 4th of July is one of my favorite times of the year. While I generally hate using the oven during this time, I love the taste and color when utilizing fresh fruit for the red, white and blue theme. And even better, the weather usually cooperates so I can get nice shots with good natural lighting before we dig in!
Of course it is also no secret that I love cheesecake so this no bake option from Kraft was the perfect way to avoid firing up the oven but still get my cream cheese and fruit fix. Pretty, isn’t it? And it doesn’t get any easier than this recipe.
Ingredients
8 servings
Directions
In large bowl beat cream cheese and sugar until very well mixed. Whisk cream cheese mixture and Cool Whip together. I used the lite version since I can’t tell the difference anyway.
Add to graham cracker pie crust and smooth. Refrigerate a minimum of 3 hours or until set. It works great for me to do this first this in the morning or even the night before.
Arrange berries on cheesecake in flag formation right before serving.
